Yaqi - The Final Cut

These were released in December 2021.
After the Version 2 disaster, It was as if Yaqi listened and fixed everything. Third time around and they got it right with "The Final Cut".
The last image below shows The Final Cut on the left and Version 2 on the right. Its essentially the same razor with the issues fixed.

It's a D89 head, with "adjustability" added. Yaqi also gave us the ability to overclock it. Mine overclocks to around 3.5. At 1 it mimics the mild D89. At around 5, I start to get a bit of blade feel and at 9.5 its reasonably aggressive.
As with most of these "Gibbs Style" razors, its head heavy. I have turned a few brass handles for them and they do balance it out. At some point, I will probably make myself one - but it certainly does not need it.

If I were to be super critical about The Final cut:
a - They didn't paint-fill the numbers (I've done it)
b - The twistknob can't be removed from the handle, but neither can a few other "Gibbs Homages". Its an easy fix, just give it a decent tug and remove the compression ring. The guys that changed their handle had to do this.
c - The handle is 80mm, right on the money for most of you but I just prefer mine about 5mm shorter.

I've said this on a number of forums - At the time of writing this, at around $30 I believe that it is the best "Value for Money" in a currently available "adjustable" razor.

How does it shave?
This is an excellent shaver for a super low price.
Add to that - It comfortably competes shave-wise with some of the premium adjustables.
