This adjustable has it all - gap and angle. Not much is known about this, but what we do know is....It has PAT D JULY 18.1911 stamped underneath. It was manufactured by the Jones Razor & Mfg Co in Kansas City, Mo.Angle adjustability is by way of a circular piece on the head and a handle/clamp arrangement. It can be used from normal 90deg to 180deg so like a shavette.
Gap adjustability is done by pulling the little piece of bent wire underneath, which in turn pulls the comb downwards. Its either open or closed - nothing inbetween.
Both ideas are simple, but they work.If you have more info - please contact me.How does it shave:
I don't have an original blade, so used a modified Artist Club blade with a spacer.
Its not a BBS shaver, using the AC blade. I've ended up with a DFS, but it was some work getting there. I also kept switching the slant from left to right and back again as I went to the opposite sides of my face. I found that I preferred it in "T" mode.
All in all a fun shaver with lots of settings to keep one occupied.
